Draft bridge

This is the draft model for the bridge. The left one is Angela Merkel's place while the right one is Hellen Keller's.

For Angela's one, I want to express 2 opposing forces. These opposing force origins from the news article, in which Angela had to argue strongly with the mass to give financial aid to Greece. I think this "opposing forces" and Angela's "counter opposing force" can exemplify Angela Merkel's "power".

For Helen's one, I want to express a very stable, firmed and tightly bonded form. In the news article, it revealed that Helen and her teacher Anne had strong bond at early stage. Since Anne is crucial in term of the success of Helen (may refer here, "Helen meets Anne" section), I express this bond as a type of "power" in the form of her part.

This scheme need further improvement in term of the following:
1) variation of path, instead of straight line ?
2) unity of 2 parts.
3) form of Helen's bridge need further development. Now is too simple.
4) Integration with landscape

Black Box Issue

This works presents shadow as refuge. It consists of a number of irregular elements in a seemingly chaotic way. Nonetheless, shadow makes this piece a more interesting piece of work. The most interesting point of this work is the irregular geometric shadow effect which is somehow alike creature. Therefore, shadow has given the liveliness to the work.
This work inspires me in terms of the shadow effect of the 9 rectangular boxes. A contrasting and vigorous form may be generated to capture the essence of the shadow. The form of night may also varies with the sun angles so that different shape of shadow can be casted throughout days and throughout the years.

Electroliquid Aggregation

--Charles Darwin:

“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

--Stephen Hawking:

“I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We’ve created life in our own image.”

----Electroliquid Aggregation:

To create responsive life, destructive change to the species such as viruses must be introduced. Whether a form can survive can be tested.
